2023 Subaru Outback Trim Levels and Standard Features Explained.

The 2023 Subaru Outback trim levels feature standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Active Torque Vectoring, Vehicle Dynamics Control, and X-MODE with Hill Descent Control to give the ideal balance of SUV capabilities and car-like ride and handling. The Outback retains a relatively low step-in height for both front and rear occupant access while having a ground clearance that is larger than that of many SUVs (8.7 inches for base models and 9.5 inches for Wilderness variants).

What’s New

The storied SUV gets new safety and interior innovations and a revised appearance. The Onyx Edition trim level debuts in 2023 and provides two engine choices.

Exterior

The revised front fascia, which has a more noticeable grille, the revamped LED headlights, and fog lights, and a more durable front bumper cover gives the 2023 Subaru Outback trim levels (apart from the newly announced Wilderness) a more assertive appearance. The enlarged wheel arch covering on the flanks gives the car a more aggressive new design while doubling as more protection.

Safety Technology

The most recent version of EyeSight Driver Assist Technology is standard on all 2023 Subaru Outback trim levels. The improved system performs better in a wider variety of circumstances. A larger field of vision, newer control software, and the inclusion of an electronic brake booster is responsible for these gains.
